Movies that gave 90s Emily Anxiety (both then and now)

This is a work in progress, as the memories come back:

Sorry to anyone this triggers...

  • Fox and the Hound (I threw our tape away but left the case so it looked like we lost it...oops)
  • Brave Little Toaster
  • Homeward Bound
  • All Dogs go to Heaven
  • The Neverending Story
  • Fern Gully
  • Beethoven
  • Charlotte's Web
  • The Witches (totally forgot about this horrifying movie, thanks internet)
  • Toy Story 1 (it's ok but torturing the toys was a little ick)
  • Jumanji (scary but also kinda like I couldn't look away)
  • The Lion King
  • ET
  • Babe
  • James and the Giant Peach
  • The Secret of Nimh
  • Nightmare Before Christmas (I was 5 when this came out. Because it was animated it seemed like a kids show but he was so mean to Santa - the nicest guy in the world)
  • The Land Before Time
  • ...TBD

Comment below if I forgot any!!

Nic Fun Facts!

  • Born in the 90s

  • I love photography and videography

  • I won an award for photojournalism

  • I’ve played the drums for 20 years

  • I really love traveling, especially with my beautiful wife <3

  • I love southern California and everything it has to offer (i.e. beaches, Disneyland, warm weather)

  • Disneyland is a happy place for me. Other than my love for rides like Indiana Jones: the Temple of the Forbidden Eye, Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion, my favorite thing to do is get some popcorn and sit on a bench on mainstreet

  • I met my wife in Oct. 2019, we got married in Oct. 2023

  • We live in Utah and enjoy camping and being outside

  • I love music! It’s one of the first ways my wife and I connected—we’ve attended concerts every summer or any chance we can. Some artists we’ve seen live are: Jack White, The Chicks, Sam Smith, Flogging Molly, Tiger Army, Ghost and Hozier. Our first concert was to see the 1975, which I bought tickets to the day after our first date and the concert wasn’t for another month

  • Our honeymoon was to New York during Christmas. It was a magical place and we fell in love with it—we’ll definitely be back

  • We have two cats: Ella and Indy

  • Ella is the black cat, named after Ella Fitzgerald, was my wife’s before we met, and was a package deal when she moved in with me. Even though I’m allergic, she told me nicely that I would “get over it.” Ella was a great addition to my life and I never realized how much I loved cats, but she made it extremely easy and I love her very much

  • Indy is our little orange tabby, named after Indiana Jones, that we were able to get from a litter from brother-in-law's shop. He’s the epitome of a “scaredy cat.” Everything makes him jump, but he loves to burrow and get under your blanket

  • We had our engagements taken at a local In-N-Out
  • Our home consists of plants, lamps and cats

  • I, too, love the Dodgers!

  • I met my husband in high school, I've known him longer than I haven't. He's the best.

  • I love the Dodgers. I've been lucky to see them play 7 times I think?
  • I've been to 6 major league stadiums to watch games (but not always to see the Dodgers 😉)
